'XIOview' - Online Demo 2

Some slight parameter modifications - a notable effect.

This demo illustrates the power of XIOview's high functional adaptability by using optional parameter settings. In this case a few parameters were modified:

  • The entire scaled image is filtered to grayscale-mode. The zoom however remains fully colored. - This can be an expedient solution, because a colored thumbnail-image could possibly interfere with the site's own coloring and may disorient the visitor.

  • The zoom-area now covers the entire applet-area.

  • Zoom-mode now remains active until the mouse is clicked again. - There is no need to permanently hold down the mouse-button.

  • Right-clicking on the applet will now display the source image in a new browser window.

  • The initial zoom-factor is set to 50% and the range of allowed zoom-values has been restricted from 50% to 250%.
